The Magnolia Tree Foundation offers financial assistance grants to those affected by the BRCA genetic mutation.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Must test positive for the BRCA 1 or BRCA 2 genetic mutation

• Must reside in Illinois

The Magnolia Tree Foundation offers financial assistance grants up to $5000 for eligible costs. Financial assistance grants can be used toward any of the following:

• Genetic counseling

• Egg harvest and storage

• Pre-implantation genetic screening/diagnosis

• In-vitro fertilization

• Prophylactic mastectomy

• Prophylactic salpingo-oophorectomy

Financial assistance grants may not be used to reimburse any patient, clinic, or other provider for services that have already been performed.

All grants are to be used only towards future costs/services.

 

The number of financial assistance grants will vary each year and are contingent upon fundraising donations.
